On line 29, the value for the year field is "1856", the suggested correction is "1876". Submitted anonymously. The following comment was attached: 1876 conforms with age 24 yrs and family records - DJB
This correction was evaluated by Lynn McEwen: I have checked the image of the original form and the correct value is debatable but I think the transcribed value is more likely to be correct. This comment was added: 1876 does match teh age but the year is clearly recorded as 1854 - we are required to transcribe as was written in the census. A note will be added to the record.
