On line 48, the value for the year field is "1884", the suggested correction is "1864". Submitted anonymously. The following comment was attached: The top loop of the 8 looks open, which would make this a 6. This would agree with age 36
This correction was evaluated by oldmisery@sympatico.ca: I have checked the image of the original form and am very sure that the suggested correction does not reflect the original. This comment was added: The suggested correction would satisfy the age, but the figure is clearly 8, as is the one before it. The 6 on the following line is clearly a 6.
