In household 34, the enumerator wrote the surname as 'McDermott', a suggested alternative surname is 'McDermid'. The person suggesting the alternative surname provided this comment: 'In all the other research on the family it spelt McDermid and mom says that her greatgrandmother spells it this way also in tthe 1881 census it is spelt this way also'.
