Surname Notes On This Page

In household 117, the enumerator wrote the surname as 'Soul', a suggested alternative surname is 'Soule'. The person suggesting the alternative surname provided this comment: 'See his headstone and that of Sarah Ann and son Charles found in the Welsford Valley cemetery. There is a letter after the l to reflect the proper spelling of his name'.
