Surname Notes On This Page

In household 502, the enumerator wrote the surname as 'Indian', a suggested alternative surname is 'Little'. The person suggesting the alternative surname provided this comment: 'The correct surname on the Micro Film is Little. There are many surname "Little" living on reserves in BC to this day. BC Vital Statistics shows surname "Little" Born on reserve dating back to 1873'.
