On line 17, the value for the surname field is "Grass?n", the suggested correction is "Grassock(?)". Submitted by Judy van der Veen. The following comment was attached: Diffiulct because of the loop from 'y' above, but I do think it is 'k'.
This correction was evaluated by Katherine V. Paterson: I have checked the image of the original form and am very sure that the suggested correction does not reflect the original. This comment was added: Grassock does not occur in either 1871 or 1881 Census for Huron county
